Tsukuba Masjid is a vibrant mosque and Islamic association serving Ibaraki’s diverse Muslim population while welcoming non-Muslims to learn about Islam and build connections.

As a non-profit organization, we offer prayers, educational programs, and community events, fostering understanding and inclusiveness within the multicultural fabric of Japan.

ツクバ・モスクは、茨城県に暮らす多様なムスリムのための、活気あるモスク・イスラーム協会です。ムスリムの方々だけでなく、イスラームについて学び、交流を深めたいと考える非ムスリムの方々も歓迎しています。

regular Prayers

Daily Prayers, Jumu'ah, Taraweeh & Eid Prayers

quran classes

Join us every Friday and Saturday for Quran classes held before and after Isha prayer. Classes are open to children, youth, and adults of all learning levels.

Ramadan Activities

Special programs like Iftar, Tarawih prayers, daily short lectures and educational competitions during the holy month.

nikah - marriage

We provide Nikah services in accordance with Islamic principles and issue an official Islamic Nikah certificate for couples upon completion of the Nikah.

WEEKLY lectures

Join us for Islamic lectures every Tuesday and Saturday after Isha, and every Friday one hour before Isha prayer.

Special Lectures

We regularly host special lectures and talks by renowned Islamic scholars from across Japan and around the world, offering valuable opportunities for learning.

Islamic Library

Our masjid has a small library with a collection of Islamic books, including Tafsir, Hadith, and other Islamic literature in various languages.

janazah

We provide comprehensive Janazah services, including Ghusl (Islamic washing) and preparation of the deceased, and Janazah (funeral) prayers.
